How addnr.com can be used

Using addnr.com is a bit like tinyURL. But for the millions of links you are exploring off line.

Imagine you are on a walk at fifth ave. in NYC. Walking past all the shops you find a new baseball merchandising shop. What could you do now to remember exactly THIS shop next time you are looking for a place to get a gift for someone?
Well typical "off line items" like shops, bars, real estates, books or pizzas do not offer the convenience to bookmark them with one simple click to del.icio.us or StumbleUpon. So you could write an email or note using your cellphone or write it on a piece of paper. But we all know how and where such notes end..

[Edna] has got the solution for that problem. Just call [Edna] free!

An Example:
What would you rather do, to get to this shop´s website next time you are online?

Either:
  • Step 1 Create a new mail
  • Step 2 Add recipient
  • Step 3 Enter "baseball merchandising shop 'XY', 5th ave."
  • Step 4 Send email
  • Step 5 SEARCH your mails, when you try to remember four months later.
  • Step 6 SEARCH google for XY merchandising shop 5th ave

Or:
  • Step 1 Call 0043780233000xxxx (by the way; this call is FREE of course)
  • Step 2 visit addnr.com to see the bookmark in your "called" items.

you are missing some critical steps in explaining how this idea actually works.

i understand that i can call 0043780233000xxxx and see the number i called on addnr.

how does the "baseball merchandising shop 'XY', 5th ave." information get entered? how do i save the information i want to save?

yes, you are right! we are working on our explanation-sites.
but the technical site was of much more importance for us.

to create an addnr. you only need to create a normal bookmark. this bookmark gets a phone number (extention) automatically. once you have created an addnr. you can publish it at the merchandising shop at 5th ave. or on mobile websites for example.
now another user just has to call this number to save this bookmark.
